With a fantastic range of local suppliers on our door step, we source as local as possible and as fresh as possible.

This means our menu is ever changing using the best ingredients from Wiltshire and the UK, while we do import some staples we try our best not to.

Families, walkers, cyclists, horses and their riders, doggies and drinkers welcome!

An old, stone-built, country pub with a farmhouse kitchen and original flagstone floors in walking distance from the National Trust village of Lacock.

Winter or summer the Rising Sun suits all seasons. Cosy and winter warming with crackling fires when its cold outside and the most amazing garden and views over the Wiltshire countryside in the summer.

You can be assured of a warm welcome from the team and the most delicious fresh produce, locally sourced food and drink served in our restaurant or conservatory and garden areas. We are a freehouse serving real ales from local breweries.

Families, walkers, cyclists, horses and their riders, and drinkers welcome!
